Setting key objectives

01. Assignment

The Chister team came up with the task: to create a modern, selling website that would not only correctly reflect the range of cleaning services, but also convert visitors into clients. The main focus is fast applications, clear presentation of services, high loading speed and a convenient mobile version.

Key objectives of the project:

  • Structure services (cleaning apartments, offices, after renovation, window cleaning, etc.) and make them as clear as possible for clients.
  • Implement a simple application form in 1-2 clicks.
  • Create a neat, visually clean interface so that it itself “speaks” about the professionalism of the company.
  • Make the site SEO-friendly for further promotion in Kyiv and the region.
Realization of the set tasks

02. Stages of work execution

1. Research and strategy

First of all, we conducted an audit of the cleaning market in Kyiv, studied competitors’ websites and the frequency of key queries. It was important for the client to stand out with simplicity and trust, so the site was planned as a convenient online tool for ordering cleaning.

What we did:

  • We identified the main user scenarios: who orders, why, from what device.
  • We divided the services into logical categories so as not to overload the visitor.
  • We wrote the first conversion texts that immediately answer the question “why you?”

Clients in this niche don’t read a lot – they need to quickly understand the essence and press a button. Therefore, all design was carried out through the prism of brevity and usefulness.

2. Design and visual style

The design focused on a feeling of cleanliness – white backgrounds, neat icons, soft animation, clean typography.

Visual accents:

  • Individual UI kit based on the Chister proprietary palette.
  • Simple and convenient adaptive layout: blocks do not “jump” on the phone.
  • Icons and graphics reflecting types of cleaning: window cleaning, cleaning after renovation, dry cleaning of upholstered furniture, etc.
  • Visual “anchors of trust” – blocks with reviews, cases, client logos.

In cleaning, it is important to show that you are neat and responsible. Therefore, every visual element should emphasize this.

3. Development on WordPress

For Chister, we chose WordPress with a custom theme – without overloaded designers, so that the site was as fast and stable as possible.

Functional modules:

  • Convenient application form: name, phone number, address – can be filled out in 15 seconds.
  • Categories of services with the ability to add new ones through the admin panel.
  • Reviews with customer photos and the ability to edit.
  • Adaptive layout and cross-browser compatibility.

4. Testing and launch

At the final stage:

  • We checked the display on all popular devices.
  • Tested all forms and buttons.
  • We set up hosting, SSL, redirects.
  • We provided the client with instructions for working with content (texts, adding reviews, etc.).
Achievement of key objectives

03. Expected result and actual result

What was planned: Create a fast, modern website that inspires trust and stimulates action.

What happened:

  • A selling website fully adapted to the behavior of the target audience.
  • Simple presentation, clear texts, minimum “water”.
  • The first applications were received already on the day the advertising campaign was launched.
  • The website became the basis for scaling the company’s digital marketing.

“Creativity for creativity’s sake” does not work in cleaning. It works – structure, benefits and trust. We implemented it.

FAQ about the website of a cleaning company
How to make a website that sells services from the first click?
What is important to consider when developing a website for a cleaning company?

The first is the structure and delivery of services. The visitor should understand in seconds what exactly you offer and how you differ. For Chister, we designed the services as cards with a brief description, photo and an “Order” button. The second is the application form. It works for us in one or two clicks: minimum fields, maximum results. And third is design. Clean, bright, with elements of cleanliness and comfort, it conveys the aesthetics of the service itself. When the visual is “clean”, it is easier for the client to trust.

Why does a cleaning business need a responsive website?

Because more than 70% of orders now come from the phone. If the site is not adapted, it simply loses customers. We made Chister perfectly responsive: compressed menus, large buttons, forms with auto-fill. Everything works quickly, nothing slows down. And most importantly, the content does not “move out”, is not lost, and does not irritate. This is critical for services with fast conversion. If a person is looking for cleaning from his phone, he wants to order right away, and not search for the right button on the screen.

How to make a cleaning website effective in Google search?

We introduced SEO basics from the very start: correct tags, semantically accurate headings, separate pages for each service (cleaning apartments, offices, after renovation, window cleaning), micro markup, and fast loading. We also used local keywords for Kyiv and the region. This gave the Chister site a chance to get to the top immediately after indexing. SEO is not only about text, but also about structure, speed, and consistency. If everything is done correctly, the site itself begins to generate traffic.

What elements increase the conversion rate of a cleaning website?

One-click application form is a must have. We placed it in several places, including the header, blocks with services and the basement. Also - “Call” and “Order a call back” buttons, messengers, promotion timer. Visually, we used blocks with guarantees, reviews, and photos of employees to increase trust. One of the keys to conversion is simplicity and a “professionals work here” feeling. No overloaded texts, just to the point and convenient.

How long does it take to create a website for a cleaning company?

If the client has a clear understanding of what services he provides and materials have been prepared (prices, photos, descriptions), a basic website can be made in 3–4 weeks. In the case of Chister, we created the structure, design, adaptation, filled the site with content, did SEO and tested everything in a month. At the same time, we left a convenient CMS so that the client could add promotions or adjust prices without involving a programmer. Convenience and autonomy are also part of our approach.

What pages are needed for a cleaning website?

Mandatory minimum: home page, about services (or separate pages for types of cleaning), about the company, reviews, contacts and application form. For Chister, we also added blocks “Why us”, “Guarantees”, “Frequently asked questions” and “Certificates”. This helps to remove the client’s objections directly on the site. Plus, if you are planning promotions or regular updates, you need a blog or news section. All this affects not only SEO, but also customer trust.

How does the website affect sales of cleaning services?

Directly. A well-made website is not just a “picture”, but a sales channel. People come in, read, and either order or leave. Our task is for them to order. We have implemented everything that influences this: simplicity, form, visuals, logic and speed. The result is that Chister began receiving applications within the first week after launch. Because everything is intuitive, understandable and inspires trust. Such a site works 24/7, and this is a real asset of the company.
